What time is breakfast offered?

Enjoy a daily taste of Half Moon Bay, featuring locally sources items, from 7am to 10am. We offer the following items for the most important meal of the day:

  • Freshly brewed Peet’s coffee and assorted teas.
  • Orange juice, apple juice and bottled water.
  • Selection of whole and fresh sliced fruit.
  • Locally sourced baked goods from the “Half Moon Bay Bakery”
  • Seasonal jams and jellies from “Spread the Love”
  • Local Honey from “Half Moon Honey”
  • Assorted cold cereals with milk.
  • Yogurts, plain and mixed berries
  • Hot Oatmeal

What time is check-in, and what time is check-out?

Check-in is 4 pm. Check-out is 11 am. We are happy to store bags for early arrivals or late departures.

What is your hotel's cancellation policy?

Enjoy peace of mind with flexible cancellations. We are offering waived cancellation fees up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival date. Changing the date on any reservation may result in different pricing, but there is no fee for making changes. Reservations with pre-paid, non-refundable rates will be subject to the rate offer rules associated with the reservation offer.

What is your hotel's housekeeping policy?

We are currently providing housekeeping services upon request. Please schedule a time at check in with our guest service team. We kindly request that you provide a 24-hour notice and request that guests exit the room while being cleaned. If any additional amenities are required, kindly get in touch at the front desk.

When is the Lobby Market open and what is available?

The Lobby Market is open 24/7. Our guests can purchase food and beverage items including candy, chips, soda, and bottled water. We also offer a selection of California regional, red, white and sparkling wines along with locally crafted beer from the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company. (Subject to CA Alcohol Ordinances).

Do you offer pet-friendly rooms?

YES! We welcome dogs for an additional pet fee of $90 + tax per stay.

Are outdoor games available for guests to use?

Yes! Our outdoor games are available for Half Moon Bay Lodge guests to play. Our games include:

  • Connect Four
  • Ring Toss
  • Giant Jenga
  • Cornhole

Yes, we offer high-speed Wi-Fi, which is complimentary for all hotel guests.

Does Half Moon Bay Lodge offer on-site dining?

We do not have an on-site restaurant, but we're located next to Half Moon Bay Joe’s and a short drive away from many great restaurants! Our Guest Experience Team at the Front Desk has a local restaurant guide that they are happy to share.

How do I get to Half Moon Bay Lodge?
  • From San Francisco: Take US-101 South to I-280 S to exit 34 (Half Moon Bay). Take CA-92 to the end to CA-1 (Cabrillo Highway) and make a left. Head south 2.5 miles. The Lodge is located on the right-hand side.
  • From San Jose: Take I-280 North towards San Mateo County. Take Exit 33 from I-280 North towards Half Moon Bay. ). Take CA-92 to the end to CA-1 (Cabrillo Highway) and make a left. Head south 2.5 miles. The Lodge is located on the right-hand side.
  • From Oakland: Take I-880 South to CA-92 West. Take CA-92 to the end to CA-1 (Cabrillo Highway) and make a left. Head south 2.5 miles. The Lodge is located on the right-hand side.
  • From Stanford University / Palo Alto: Take I-280 North exit 33 (Half Moon Bay). Take CA-92 to the end to CA-1 (Cabrillo Highway) and make a left. Head south 2.5 miles. The Lodge is located on the right-hand side.
  • From Pacifica: Take CA-1 (Cabrillo Highway) 2.5 miles past CA-92. . The Lodge is located on the right-hand side.
  • From Santa Cruz: Head north on CA-1 (Cabrillo Highway). The Hotel is on the left just past the Miramontes Road and the sign for the Half Moon Bay Golf Links course.
Do you offer parking?

We offer complimentary self-parking for all guests of The Half Moon Bay Lodge.
Oversized vehicles such as recreational vehicles, busses and/or trucks are subject to availability.
